What size units do you have at Airfield Boat & RV Storage?

Our storage units come in two sizes: 12×40 and 12×50. All of our doors are just under 14’ tall. These measurements are approximate. Most of our clients are storing large motorhomes, large 5th wheel campers or larger boats. We have not encountered a rig that we could not accommodate but yours could be the first! If you’re interested, give us a call  or send us a message and we’d be happy to show you the spaces available.

Please note, tenants must leave room around the perimeter of the rig for building maintenance and pest control.

Are the storage buildings climate controlled?

All of the storage buildings are fully enclosed; however, they are not insulated nor climate controlled. The fully enclosed space will help protect your items from blistering sun, wind, rain, and hail.

We recommend winterizing to more fully protect items during cold weather. We always winterize ours! It is a
quick and easy process and brings peace of mind when temperatures drop.

May I use extra space to store boxes, tubs, tools, accessories, etc?

Storage of other miscellaneous items is strictly prohibited. As you can likely imagine, these things tend to accumulate and can quickly lead to cluttered spaces that no one wants their rig parked next to!

Miscellaneous items also get in the way of building maintenance, cleaning and pest control. Everything stored in the unit should be up off the floor and fully contained in your boat, RV, vehicle, etc.

Do you have electric service at each unit?

Each storage unit is equipped with a 30 amp electric outlet and a 110v outlet.

FULL 30 amp electric service is NOT included with regular rent.

The electric service is primarily intended for trickle charging batteries.

We also have a dump station and water for rinsing.

Can I run my air conditioner, refrigerator and/or heater?

Tenants are welcome to cool off their rig and refrigerator just prior to a trip. We cannot allow refrigerators and air conditioners to run full time. We also do not allow use of heaters inside the storage units. We strongly recommend winterizing.

How and when can I access my storage unit?

Tenants have access to their stored item 24/7. Each building has an electronic keypad on the door and tenants are assigned a unique access code. The system keeps a record of entrance activity.

May I perform maintenance, repairs or restoration work in the storage space?

As a general rule, NO maintenance, repair or restoration work is permitted inside the storage unit, nor on the Airfield Storage property. This policy is intended to protect neighboring boats, RVs, and vehicles parked in close proximity.

Why FULLY ENCLOSED storage?

Fully enclosed boat and RV storage is essential in protecting your investment from the harsh elements.  Completely sheltering your boat or RV from sun, wind, rain, and hail greatly reduces weathering, storm damage, and maintenance costs.  Fully enclosed storage may also reduce your insurance premiums and surely preserves your resale value.
